The Eclipsing God is the one true god, and it is the monotheistic religion of Bein. The Eclipsing God, however, is a two-sided god, representing the Sun and the Moon. The Eclipsing God is nearly two gods, and his followers see him as a god that gives and takes away, gifts and punishes, encourages and disciplines. The priests of the Eclipsing God take on many forms, and they represent many aspects of the Eclipsing God.
The followers of the Eclipsing God believe that there are two afterlives: the Abyss (for those who have sinned) and the Light – sometimes translated to the Heavens (for those who are good). The Eclipsing Gods two faces rule them both. The Eclipsing God is represented by a circle with two faces, often shown in relief.
